Make A Donation

San Juan College: We are currently trying to raise at least $7,000 to pay for solar electric equipment that will be installed on our new medical clinic in the village of Sihurong. A group of volunteer students from San Juan College will be performing this work in June. Anything you can do to contribute to our fundraising goal will be greatly appreciated. If you can make a donation to support this project, please include a note that the funds are for the solar energy project at the clinic. To learn more about the trip, please click here.

About the Tibetan Village Project

The Tibetan Village Project (TVP) is a non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to alleviating poverty through sustainable development projects and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Tibet.

TVP is operated by its volunteer board members and staff, led by Tamdin Wangdu, the founder and executive director of TVP who is from Tibet and now lives in US.

Overhead costs such as office space and office supplies are donated, and operational costs are covered by earned income through volun-tourism trips to Tibet and gift sales.

All TVP donors receive monthly project updates by email and an annual finance and project report at the end of each fiscal year. In this way, you - the donor - know exactly what TVP has done with your money and the difference we, together, have made in the lives of many Tibetans.
