An Evening for Tibet is a benefit dinner held annually to celebrate and help support Tibetan Village Project's various humanitarian projects. Tamdin Wangdu, the founder and executive director, along with project coordinators return to Colorado from Tibet to update new and continued supporters on the progress of projects and to raise funds for specific projects to be implemented the following year. The evening includes dinner, drinks, music, raffles, live auction and other fun activities.
This tradition was started in Louisville, Colorado at Tibet's Restaurant in 2008 and attracts about 80-100 people at each event annually. In 2012, we ere grateful to have TVP supporters in the Bay Area, Portland and New York decide to hold their own "Evening for Tibet" in TVP's honor. If you are interested in holding your own "Evening for Tibet" benefit dinner to help support one of our projects please contact Yonten Gyatso at firstname.lastname@example.org
