Tibetan Village Project invites you to join us for ‘An Evening for Tibet’ at Himalayan Flavors Restaurant in Berkeley, California. $50 tax-deductible donation covers a delicious Tibetan and Indian dinner, wine, music, a lively auction, and other fun.
Tamdin Wangdu, the founder and executive director of Tibetan Village Project will speak about his passion and commitment to the economic, cultural, and environmental empowerment of communities living on the Tibetan Plateau. Tamdin started TVP in 2001 after he lost his father due to lack of medical services in his village. Eleven years later, TVP has expanded its programs to other villages and has become an important bridge between Tibetans in Tibet and those who wish to help them.
