Rogom Greenhouse

Design
This 30 x 40 greenhouse uses metal tube and wood for the beams; mud, stone and wood for the structure; heavy duty plastic for the cover and fabric blanket for basic the insulation. Two small water bags are connected to a simple drip irrigation system.

Benefit
The greenhouse extends the growing season from four months to ten months and produces enough vegetables for 25 students, a teacher, and the gardener's family. Surplus vegetables from high yield season are given to clinic patients and the village elders.
