Tree, Walking Monk © 2003 Edward Nuñez |
This
image was taken in 2002 by photographer Edward Nuñez. Edward was on his
way to observe the evening prayer ceremony at Tibet's Tashilhunpo's monastery
when he found this narrow, ancient corridor occupied by a twisted yet gracefully
flowering tree. A monk rounded the corner, briskly striding to an obvious obligation
(perhaps the prayer ceremony). In this passing moment, this image was made. This
photograph was a featured travel image on Nikon.com in May 2003.
This
is a limited edition print of 1,200 with following sizes in museum-quality print.
